CAAP's conference workshops equip service providers with the tools needed to remain relevant, innovative, and effective in their day-to-day work.
Each year, the Community Action Association of Pennsylvania's Annual Conference brings together over 300 Community Action professionals and their partners from across the State. The 2016 conference featured 20 educational workshops that are applicable to nonprofits generally but have specific focus on issues faced by Pennsylvania's Community Action Agencies and their partners. All workshops are geared towards educating attendees on topics that reflect the current human services environment and challenges faced every day in our communities. The overarching goal of conference workshops are to equip service providers with the tools needed to remain relevant, innovative, and effective in their day-to-day work. Workshops are intended to educate, inspire, be thought provoking, expand attendees' professional development skill sets, provide up-to-date information on rules and regulations, and more.
