2024 CAAP Conference FAQs

  • Non-members are welcome to join for the following:

    1. Weatherization Track at Pre Conference October 22nd, 2024.

    2. Main Conference and CAAPtivating Excellence Awards October 23rd and 24th, 2024.

    Non-members are excluded from Fiscal Bootcamp, Executive Leadership pre conference track, and poverty simulation facilitator training.

  • Yes! During registration please select the appropriate number of tickets with add-ons if applicable and you can register others associated with your organization.

  • Yes! The weatherization track can be used with WAP T/TA Funds invoiced to Clean Energy Center.

  • Unfortunately no, headshots must be paid for with registration and a timeslot selected.

  • Yes! If you'd like to pay for headshots personally and your organization isn't covering the cost you can add on to your conference registration.

    1. Register and pay for conference.

    2. Modify registration link provided in conference registration email.

    3. Modify registration and add professional headshot and pay separately.

  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club, and JCB. We also take checks and can send an invoice.

    Please select the invoice me check box at payment and you will receive an invoice for all applicable conference passes.

  • This meeting is reserved for executive leadership of Community Action Agencies or their designees.

  • Yes, the Penn Square parking garage is connected to the venue. You can also use the East King or Prince St. garage.

  • Yes! The room block closes on September 20.

  • Yes! We will have coffee and an array of teas available. 

  • A breakfast buffet and lunch will be provided each day during the conference. We will be providing dinner at the CAAPtivating Excellence Awards on October 23rd.

    A boxed lunch will be provided if attending the pre-conference, Poverty Simulation Facilitator Training, or Weatherization Track on October 22nd.

  • You may attend a different session than the one you initially registered for.

    We ask to pick sessions at registration as closely as possible to account for attendee capacity in each session breakout room.

  • Registration is open and will close on October 1st. Registration is not available on-site. 

  • We recommend checking your spam/junk folders to see if your confirmation email ended up there. However, if you have opted out of CAAP emails, you will not receive any confirmation. Email info@thecaap.org for any assistance regarding registration. 

  • You can transfer your registration to someone in your organization or request a conference registration cancellation by October 11th. Please email info@thecaap.org to initiate the cancellation process. One of our conference staff members will guide you through the necessary steps and assist you with your cancellation.

    If you miss the cancellation deadline and can no longer attend, your only option is to transfer your registration to someone from your organization. Email info@thecaap.org to make these arrangements.

  • You may bring a laptop to the sessions; however, it is not required. 

  • If the conference is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified via email, and a refund will be provided. 

  • No, apologies this is an in person only event.

  • If there is an emergency during the conference, please contact Amanda Hoprich, Chief Operating Officer for CAAP, at 570-709-8962.

  • We recommend formal attire.

    Dress to impress so we can honor these individuals and have a great photo op for your team 👗👔👞👠🎩

  • Yes, free WiFi will be available during the event.
